Partido do Desenvolvimento Nacional (PDN) split from PSD in 2009, caused by a
quarrel about party leadership. Its flag looks like a reminiscence of the
national flag of Argentina.

Horizontal triband of pale blue and white with a logo in the middle and party
name in thin white sans serif upper case letters on the lower stripe. The logo
shows three green mountain peaks against a large deep yellow sun disc, charged
with the letters "PND" in dark blue with white shadow, all resting on a dark
blue scroll bearing an inscription set in white sans serif upper case letters (I
could not read; "lia" means "word" in Tetum). Ratio 2:3 is conjectural.
